Super Class in July?

Posts: 626 		The month of July is open for some disc golf happenings at Morris Park in Fairmont, WV; If we had some volunteers and a tourney director that is.  It would be nice to have a weekend of disc golf sometime in July including a PDGA Super Class and a PDGA Doubles tourneys on Sat/Sunday.

The Super Class event would be "free of PDGA fee's" to the players making a lower cost entry. A Super Class event is defined as a disc golf tournament where you can only use the older, "Frisbee-type" discs including; any UPA approved disc, the Innova Zephyr or the Discraft Pulsar.

The "Bring-your-own-partner" doubles event would be PDGA event where you would play different formats of doubles and have chances to win prizes and earn PDGA player points (but does not affect ones rating.) Each team can consist of at least 1 am and 1 Pro player. 2 registered Pro's cannot be on the same team.  The format for the event could be "Best Disc" or "Worst Disc" or even "Alternate" throws.

If someone will take on the task of running the Super Class and/or Doubles event the WVDGA and its members would assist.
