USDGC State Rep Spot and more

Would like to explain in a little more detail about the USDGC State Rep (WV) spot up for grabs this weekend at the Seth Burton Memorial.

First, requirements:

  • The spot will be determined using Performance Scoring
  • Must be a current 2012 PDGA member registered in WV
  • If your rating is below 875 it will be rounded up to 875 for Performance Scoring
  • Must compete in any Pro division (Open, Open Women, Masters ...etc.)
  • Must have at least 12 rated PDGA rounds between March 1, 2011 and
the last ratings report prior to this year's USDGC. That report is scheduled
for September 18th and will not include this weekends tourney.

Second, the USDGC:

  • The spot has been paid for by the WVDGA and is currently awaiting a rep
  • Player who wins the spot will be announced during the awards ceremony on Saturday
  • The State Rep must commit to going to this event or can choose to pass to the next eligible player.
  • State Rep should immediately register w/ the USDGC to confirm the spot.
  • Player is responsible for travel, lodging and all other road trip accommodations, we pay the entry fee.
  • The State Rep will compete in the "Performance Flight" group at the USDGC using the same Performance Scoring methods used to determine the spot.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!
