Bag Tag Roundup

Posts: 626 		Getting near the end of the 2005-2006 Bag-Tag challenge. The Last "Scheduled" bag-tag meetup will be the Friday August 4th (the day before the West Virginia Disc Golf Classic) This will consist of a round of 18 holes of golf with the tee-placements chosen by the lowest tag holder.

This is an optional round so if you wanna hide with your gold tag then that is your choice (coward -ahem coward - cough) excuse me. But, we will have some interesting CTP' s and prizes available only at this round. The final bag tag awards will be given out at the West Virginia Disc Golf Classic!

A few rules to be noted when playing for disc golf Bag-Tags
 

  1. Lowest tag chooses the tee (This means that the low tag holder gets to choose one set of tee's, either Long tee's or Short Tee's. No making up tees that do not exists and no alternating from short to long)
  2. You must play the stipulated course as it was designed (Again, no improvising)
  3. Every round you play with another bag tag holder is a bag tag challenge (This means that all strokes apply to your score IE... no mulligans, tap ins, gimmes ...etc)
  4. All PDGA rules apply.


1. When you play a round in a club event you AUTOMATICALLY have a challenge with the players on your card. This means EVERY SINGLE ROUND NO EXCEPTIONS. Only rule is you MUST HAVE YOUR TAG WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!

2. Conduct yourself within the spirit of the competition.

3. Challenges need to be accepted in order for the series to work for everyone.

4. Anyone not participating within the spirit of the competition will be reviewed for possible discipline regarding their tag.

5. All players will be ranked from 1-? , (However many players we have sign up).

6. All Challenges will be made by challenging up in rank.

7. ALL CHALLENGES ARE NOW FREE, ( but a friendly wager should always be welcomed)

9. You do not have to except a non event challenge from the player that you just beat until one of the 2 players have completed another challenge or 2 weeks have past whichever comes first.

10. Please make all efforts to get phone challenges completed by working out times and courses that are reasonable. This series will help in your development as player and should bring our disc golf community closer together through this friendly competition.

11. If a player refuses a challenge please report the incident right away to info@wvdiscgolf.net. If a player refuses a challenge he may be subject to having his tag revoked or restart at the last # available.

12. Do not challenge a player if you do not have your tag with you. Not having your tag at an event constitutes refusing a challenge (subject to the players and situation) Please bring tag to events!!

PS - If you lose lour tag you must pay $8.00 for a replacement.
