Pennsylvania clubs will have the first chance to get their best pro and advanced members in the 90-player field by sponsoring the event as a large, medium or small sized club before the March 10th deadline.

The remaining spots in the field will be filled through preregistration beginning March 11th and ending May 2nd.

The event is a PDGA B-tier, MADC B-series event with at least $500.00 added to the pro purse and handsome player packages for all Ams. Discounts and added money in all women's divisions.

I just signed up via PayPal for this event, anyone else planning on attending this event? The course at IUP is very nice, lots of elevation changes, hallway tree shots and big arm holes!

The Keystone State games are Pennsylvania’s largest amateur athletic festival. This annual multi sport competition modeled after the Olympic Games provides Pennsylvania’s amateur athletes an opportunity to compete against others from throughout the Commonwealth.

Established in 1980 by state direction, the mission of the Keystone State Games is multi-fold: to promote physical fitness and sport as health improvement and disease prevention strategies for all Pennsylvanians; to create an expanded, coordinated and citizen-sponsored program for fitness and amateur athletic competition.

For the first time the sport of disc golf will be included in the games, open to both male and female competitors ages 12 through senior. The Pennsylvania Department of Parks, Gifford Pinchot State Park and The Pinchot Disc Golf Association are sponsoring disc golf’s debut in the games at Gifford State Park near York, PA, on July 24 - 26, 2007. Competition will be organized by age, gender and skill level. Applications can be obtained directly from the above web site. Advance registration is required. Additional information can be obtained at:
