Great courses, nice guys

Hi, all.

Just wanted to let everyone out there know how much fun I've had this past week playing the Seth Burton Memorial Disc Golf Course at Morris Park.  Phil, Adam, Ben, JJ, Mike, Sean and Nick were all very generous to let me play along with them and I enjoyed every minute of it.  The main course is in great shape and coming from a flat-land Florida boy, you guys deserve high credit for such a well-designed, fun course to play.  I think that once you guys clean up the (un)fairways of the outside course, I'm sure it will be great.  I like all the ideas for the name of the course, but Adam's "Agent Orange" wins out in my book but only for the reason that the nine holes that are in the ground can kill you.

Good luck with everything, and I hope to see you guys in Florida someday...just give me a call, and I'll do what I can to meet you at the courses in my area of the state.  You can find my information at http://www.pdga.com/course/courses_by_city.php?id=157.  My home course is in Ocala: http://www.pdga.com/course/courses_by_city.php?id=1625 and I  highly recommend Cliff Stephens in Clearwater (http://www.pdga.com/course/courses_by_city.php?id=151).

I'll try to make it out again on Tuesday and Thursday for the 5:30 rounds.

Thanks Gator, have you seen the pics yet of the new baskets?

They look great!  I suppose I'd be more inclined to play that killer 9 with the new baskets than when we played it without them.  The satisfying "ching" sound at the end of every hole is incentive enough...although hitting the tree-targets was probably a lot easier than the baskets where you can miss putt, roll down hill, upshot, miss putt, roll...ad infinitum.  Has anyone established a course record yet?

I hope to be back for maybe a couple of rounds in July and then definitely during Thanksgiving.
