Marietta Grand Opening August 18

"Looking for volunteers/players/coaches (or any combo thereof) to participate in a round or two at the newly installed 9 hole course (two tee pads each hole). If enough newbies or kids show, we'd like to put on a small demonstration/instructional promo before playing. Tips and suggestions for the current course and the next proposed 9 are also welcome, whether in person or electronically.
We are running radio ads the week prior to the opening and we have a couple quite large signs up in a high traffic area on the edge of the course, so we are anticipating a fairly large turn-out.
A few experienced players willing to give quick demos and play the course would be very helpful.
PS-if anyone (Hey Buck bros’n dad!) is travelling to, through or from the Huntington W.Va. area before the 18th pls. let Dave know, Johnny Sias has a couple of autographed discs he was trying to get to the course organizer (Dave Smith)........"

This is the fastest course I’ve ever seen from conception to installation, plus they’ve got an impressive web site, and numerous and generous sponsors. Come on down and meet some motivated folks....and check the website or email the club for specific times on the 18th.
