Thanks for posting Kurt! Do you take out fee's for the Can Am series for everyone or just Can Am series members?

This tourament is set up excactly like The Hunt at Deer Lakes was last year.  And all entry fees will have the Can Am Series fee deducted from the payout.  I hope to make that up by adding more than the $500 minimum cash added to the pro purse.  Looks like we should be around $600 - $700 by that time.

Which leads me to the next topic.  The IUP College Lodge Course Championship is scheduled for April 26th.  Which is a Fund raiser tournament benefitting the Indiana Open. 2 rounds of 18 holes for the following divisions:

Open
Advanced
Intermediate
Women

$20 Entry Fee (women pay only $10)
1st and 2nd Place trophies for each division. - Got the sweet mugs just like last year.
Numerous CTP prizes for each division!

The course will utilize the Indiana Open tournament pin positions so the IUP Course Championship will be an excellent opportunity to practice the layout in a competitive setting. What a Amazing turn out for the IUP Course Championship! For those involved in yesterday Tee Pouring Party, I salute you for making the trip to Indiana. In all, a total of 26 players made it to the Lodge to help raise money for the Indiana Open. We collected a grand total of $525 to be added to the pro purse! Which brings our grand total as of now to $850...AMAZING!

Here are the results...

Open

1. Chris D. 60 - 61 = 121 (won playoff hole #1 for trophy)
1. J Gary 59 - 62 = 121
3. Sid O. 69 - 62 = 131
4. Dave O. 63 - 69 = 132
4. Dave K. 63 - 69 = 132

Advanced

1. Ben H. 59 - 65 = 125
2. Mike H. 63 - 66 = 129
3. Eric B. 62 - 70 = 132
3. Matt M. 61 - 71 = 132
5. Kurt P. 69 - 64 = 133
6. Chris H. 63 - 72 = 135
7. Alanna P. 67 - 74 = 141

Intermediate

1. Dave V. 57 - 64 = 121
2. Tony V. 63 - 64 = 127
3. Kyle H. 67 - 63 = 130
4. Scott H. 63 - 68 = 131
5. Danny P. 71 - 68 = 139
5. Rouge 70 - 69 = 139
7. Steve 80 - 75 = 155
8. Justin 83 - 78 = 161
(Scott P., Chris L., Mo Z., Michelle B. - DNF)

Women

1. Kira C. 72 - 73 = 145
2. Sara L. 78 - 71 = 149

Stella and Jerry G. eventhough they couldn't make it also donated $20 each to the cause...So THANKS!!! In closing, I would once again thank everyone for attending. And so not to be out done by the trophy mistake from the Lakeview Course Championship, the IUP College Lodge Course Championship trophies also had a mistake...both 1st and 2nd place for all divisions were 1st place trophies!
