Fly High, Big Daddy ( Paw Paw)

I'll be there....again. 

It's only an one-day tourney & 2 rounds on the 14th of June. 

Tournament Details:

WV's Newest Pro/Am Event

Each entrant MUST be a current PDGA member.
(Or add $5 to the registration)
Pro/Amatuer Men $40*
(Women, pay 1/2 the above costs, no deduction for early reg.)
(includes all extraneous fees)
*Men Deduct $10 if registration is postmarked by June 1, 2009.
Format: Two rounds of 18 holes
Both courses.

The Woodshed & Whippin' Post
Paw Paw, WV

Field is limited to 144 players,
playing in foursomes
max 72 player per course

Player check-in closes promptly at 8:30 am.
Players meeting & group photos 9:00 am.
Players will have half an hour before tee off to warm up.

Non playing officials and spotters gratitude packages available for those willing to help, just let us know!

Where Women are always half off!

Posts: 88 		I believe that it's always been an event where one has to be a current PDGA member.  Looked at last year's WV Amateur Championships & didn't see any non-PDGA members.  It's probably a liability thing.

Posts: 626 		naw, only A-Tiers are PDGA member only events plus it says add $5 if not a PDGA member on the flyer; leads me to believe it may be due to the special event for Big Daddy.  If not then maybe it is a misprint :-?

either way I will probably go, bring your gnat repellent!

Posts: 88 		Oh yeah.  I misread that and over looked the (add $5) thing...my bad.  Yes it's definitely $10 now and there's a good chance that it's an error. 

Gnat repellent won't do you any good.  You might as well jump into the pond there & grab a handful of the mud & fish poo on the bottom and rub it all over you.  It'll repel your fellow foursomes for sure, but I'm not sure if it'll be any more effective on these pesky gnats!  I know I've swallowed a few over the years playing there....lol
