we are taking 280 players this year, 90 ams and 90 open. The Ams have the best chance of filling up this year, keep an eye on the pre-registration list here:

 http://www.pdga.com/tournament-results?TournID=8779

Remember, there is a $10 late registration fee (to encourage pre-registration) for any registrations received after Sept. 13th, 2009.

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's  ... a golf disc coming our way, duck!!

Please tell me that Adv's playing the "regular" long tees at Orange Crush.

Hey Jester, this will actually be determined by the total # of participants. If there are enough Ams to fill a course (50-90) then, all Ams will play the same Tee's (shorts.) It will also encourage Advanced players (from WV) who want a chance at the USDGC spot to move up to Open.

If our numbers are low, then Open/Adv will play together from the Longs.

Our ultimate goal is to fill both fields with 90 players!!

In regards to our USDGC spot for this tourney, I would like to note that this spot is open only to players from WV competing in the Open division who are not already qualified.

Orange Crush now has 36 tee pads. The last two were completed this weekend, and are looking great for the PVDGC.
